John William Burke

John Burke, with over twenty years of experience establishing technology related companies, is a proactive technology professional skilled at anticipating market changes and product trends and building organizations to capitalize on market opportunities. He has significant expertise in sales/marketing planning, market program development and business model transformation. He is a respected leader within the IT solution provider industry and received CMP Publishing’s Hall of Fame award for a leading role in the 9/11 recovery effort for several enterprise financial institutions.

Mr. Burke is CEO of JB Technologies, a technology consulting firm that helps clients prepare for new systems, rationalize existing technology infrastructure investments critical to the enterprise and provide technology expertise in the areas of LAN/WAN network analysis and design, data center design / consolidation / relocation and corporate relocation projects.

Mr. Burke has appeared on technology panel discussions at Comdex in Las Vegas and has frequently provided editorial commentary for several CMP Publications such as Computer Reseller News, VAR Business and Optimize.

John serves on the Board of Advisors for the Salvation Army and is a member of the Chief Executives Officers Organization – Super Pac 1 International Chapter and the Young Entrepreneurs Organization – New York Chapter. John holds a BA in Computer Science from Iona College in New Rochelle.

Mr. Burke started his career as an IBM system developer.
