Most recently, Mr. Petronzi served as Executive Director of Electronic Data
Systems (EDS), where he was responsible for all aspects of multiple client
relationships in the New York metropolitan area generating revenues in
excess of $150 million per year for EDS. EDS services for these clients
included large Infrastructure Outsourcing contracts, complex Business
Process Outsource projects, Systems Integrations assignments and Strategic
Assessment engagements. Prior to joining EDS, Mr. Petronzi was responsible for a major technology
program for Standard and Poor’s and McGraw-Hill (the parent). This
challenging project included the deployment of a 35,000 sq. ft. raised floor
technology center designed to support mainframe, mid-range and server-based
platforms in a highly reliable environment and the design and deployment of
all major technology infrastructures including communications, trading,
market data and audio/visual systems. John was accountable for oversight of
the $30 million technology build out, the master technology transition plan
and transition budget. He participated in all executive steering committee
meetings associated with the infrastructure build out, transition planning
and transition execution. Mr. Petronzi’s career includes large systems sales and executive general
management responsibilities at several Telecommunications product and
services companies and Information Technology companies. He was also the
co-founder of a telecommunications consulting firm subsequently sold to EDS
in 1988. He has overseen large, complex technology related deployments for
Northwestern University, The University of Michigan, The Chicago Board of
Trade, J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch and The Port Authority of New York and New
Jersey.
He holds a BA degree in mathematics from Rutgers University.
