Gregory G. Kenley Senior Project Manager
Mr. Kenley is a senior level
technology leader with more than twenty years experience with a track record
of successful product designs ranging from high capacity, scaleable
commercial web sites to large-scale client / server applications based on
RPC, UNIX and NT technology.
In prior positions, Mr. Kenley has
served as Senior Systems Architect, Vice President Engineering, and
Director of Software Engineering - Network Storage Services with
experience in various industries: storage management, financial services,
e-commerce and telecommunications. He possesses a broad range of skills
including the ability to manage, build, deliver and support high quality
commercial software products. He is very focused on the needs of the users,
and takes a "hands-on" approach to the architecture, design, development and
delivery of the products he brings to market. He is an excellent mentor and
public speaker.
Fortune 500 companies purchased two of the products that he architected and
designed. As an Engineering Development Manager, Gregory has created a
technical working relationship with Microsoft NT development twice to
co-develop strategic technologies for EMC and Sun Microsystems. He has
strong successes in recruiting world-class engineering teams that deliver
working and supportable products on time and managed to the allotted budget.
He has successfully managed geographically separate engineering teams in
Europe and North America.
Representative major projects include the following:
Successfully architected and designed the server platform for the Enterprise
Storage Area Network (SAN) middleware software services. Led the engineering
effort through development and production. The product was installed at
Chemical Bank, Exabyte and Microsoft. Sun Microsystems purchased the
company.
Mr. Kenley recruited and led the world-class corporate thirty-five person
engineering team to develop the Web-based Storage Resource Manager (SRM) 1.0
product on time.
Established a strategic technical relationship with Microsoft Corporation
to deliver the Remote Media Services as part of Windows NT 5.0 (RMS).
Redeveloped RMS to be an add-on component to Windows NT 5.0 in order to
align it with the company channel sales goals.

StorageTek: direct-line responsibility for all network storage
software programs for Data Center customer base; principal server architect
and platform designer for the NearNet family of enterprise network storage
products, allowing Fortune 500 Data Centers to share Tape Libraries with
Mainframes and Databases; provided hands-on technical and managerial
leadership for the first Network Storage Management product worldwide in
less than twenty-four months.

Led the team that designed, developed and shipped StorageTek's first PC/NOS
Network Storage Management product in less than six months.
Mr. Kenley graduated Georgia Institute of Technology, in 1986 receiving a
Masters Science degree in Information and Computer Science and completed his
undergraduate in Computer Science at College of William and Mary in 1979.
